Since I am some "free time" I thought I would review how our 2013 goals are going since we are now at the half way mark {also at the 6 month mark for this blog...yeah}!
Here are our New Year's resolutions for 2013:
Ellie - Use the potty :)!
We have pretty much mastered daytime potty training!!! Still working on night time, but I am very happy about almost being all done!!!
New Goal: She needs to not have mom carry her around so much ;)...she LOVES being the "baby" of the family, but at 2 1/2 she's getting heavy to carry so we are going to work on this!! Work on night time potty training and practice singing her ABCs and counting to 10.
Evan - No help from mommy using the potty (don't worry all the resolutions don't involve the restroom...), writing his name on his own, learn all his abc's, and ride a big boy bike
He never needs my help in the restroom anymore {hallelujah!}, we are getting better at writing his name and knowing all his letters {this boy takes after his daddy so he already has all his numbers mastered and could count probably count to 100}, and he does now have a big boy bike he can ride!
New Goal: Writing his name clearer and learn all of his ABCs. Sleep in his own room all night long!!!
Avery - Become a better reader (this was his idea), ride his bike without training wheels, and learn to tie his shoes
Avery is doing awesome at reading and we are trying to keep it up this summer with summer reading, he has his training wheels off and we are still working on doing it all by himself all the way, and we are so close to him tying his shoes {it has been harder working on this during the summer when he always wears flip flops} but we need to get this mastered before first grade!
New Goal: Continue reading, riding his bike by himself, and tying his shoes!
Carrie - run a half marathon
New Goal: My second half marathon in October!!!
Ryan - run a half marathon with Carrie (but I don't think this is really a challenge for him since he could wake up tomorrow and run one without any training...)
New Goal: I haven't asked him...but I guess the half marathon...but again I don't think this is a real goal for him ;).
