#50 moon marble

We had a great day today!  I have loved our Take a Trip Thursdays this summer!  The best part of them is the time we get to spend with friends.

Today we went to Moon Marble Company.  This place has been on my "to do list" forever and I am glad we finally made it there!  It's an easy 30 minute drive to this famous KC destination for us.  There was a bit of a crowd today when we went even.  At this place they give a demonstration of how marbles are made and they make a handmade marble right in front of you like they used to do.  Very cool.  The store is also pretty cool too and has every unique kind of toy your kiddo could ask for...the moms might have to make a separate trip there in the future for stocking stuffers!

We then celebrated the national holiday...what you didn't know of a holiday today?  Well today's 7/11................which could only mean it's Free Slurpee Day at 7-11 :).

If that wasn't enough fun for one day we also went to see the Prince of Egypt with our friends too at the summer movies! 

{This time Evan fell asleep halfway through the movie and Ellie went potty 3 times...I guess that's an improvement from the 4 times she went last time ;)....At least Avery enjoyed it!}

After a fun filled morning & afternoon we are spending time outside this evening enjoying the nice weather we are having again!
