#55 a boy & his bike

It was a big day in our household today....after months of talking about it, refusing to even try it, and several half-hearted attempts.....

Avery is FINALLY riding his bike all by himself!!!!!

Once he set his mind to actually learning how to do this and this little bribe it really only took 3 practice days for him to pull it off!  I think the thing that pushed him to do it this time is Evan's awesome motivation to complete his goals....and Avery not wanting anyone to out "beat" him.  You see I played my hand well because Evan is motivated with bribery of items and Avery is motivated with competition ;)....and Ellie....well she's just the princess as of now :).  So our current goal board looks like this:

{The boys have both mastered 2 of their goals already!  They just have to keep up until the end of the month with the other items.  And Ellie is working on hers :).}

What else did we do today?

We went to storytime and played at the park with friends...

and worked on our bug scrapbooks....

and made some cool robots!
