On our 3rd day of our trip....
We spent more time in Rogers City. It is just so pretty up there and everything is so green!
We began the morning with a 5.5 mile run on a trail that went by the lake and the forest. You can't beat a run like that! Beautiful view!
While Ryan & I ran the kiddos played on the beach with Aunt Tamarin. They were a little cold and wet when we were ready to leave :).
Then we did a little photo session by the local lighthouse. I bribed Evan with candy that's why he's actually looking at the camera and somewhat smiling :).

{Ellie pretty much wanted to be "up top" the whole trip that's why she is always on Ryan's shoulders :)}
Next we headed to the local parade they were having for their festival. G.G.'s sisters helped the kiddos get their full of candy. Evan was by far the best candy getter!! He needed two bags when we were done! It was a pretty good parade.
Next, we headed to a smaller lake in the area to do a little swimming and playing {this lake was quite a bit warmer}.

We ended the day back at Lake Huron. Playing along the shore and chasing seagulls!
{yeah pretty cold :)}
{I can't make this up...it was that pretty}
A great day, but the trip is not over....to be continued...
