On the eighth day...
Elfy came on a swing looking for the snow we were supposed to get today.
We got a little bit of snow, but not enough to play in!
I ran a cold, cold {like 18 degrees cold} and snowy 5k race this morning with my sis and some great friends. My first time running in snow! {Not really a fan ;).} We did finish however and were still smiling at the end! And we did get a great medal from it, but the PANCAKE breakfast we were promised turned out to be biscuits and gravy...not the same!
After that we decided to forgo our Advent activity of shopping today to snuggle at home and...
make silly faces...
wrap some presents...
and watch the Polar Express {since tomorrow is Polar Express Day, but all three kiddos won't get a chance to watch it tomorrow night}...
