2 superheroes & a princess: the big "6"

Well I cannot believe it, but our "buddy bear" is now 6 years old! How can that be?? I felt like 5 was such a big number, but now 6...man, that takes two hands to even tell someone how old you are! Avery has always been an easy child {probably because he takes the most after me :)} and he has been such a great big brother.

Avery's 6 birthdays:

This last year has been a lot of first for him.
Here's a few things that happened during year 5:

* Graduated preschool

* Started kindergarten!

* Learned to read books, count to 100, add and subtract, memorized his 50 kindergarten sight words, and writes complete sentences

* Has lost 2 teeth

* Won a citizenship award for showing respect

* Does the monkey bars by himself

* Dives under the water and swims above and under water

* Learned to play soccer

* Ran his first "races"

* Completed a bike race with Ryan

* Became a pro at Skylanders on the Xbox ;)

Wow what a year it has been!

They never stop slowing down!

Over the weekend and today have all been about Avery! It started with Grandmommy and Granddaddy coming up on Friday and being able to pick him up at school, then Kelsey coming over on Saturday and a trip to the movies, a birthday party on Sunday, a fun shopping and lunch trip today, and birthday treats at school and Ryan being a Watch DOG dad. Okay here's the picture overload :)
