springtime weekends outside

It was one of those weekends where we spent the whole weekend outside.  It was a beautiful weekend filled with sports, friends, and family time.

We started Saturday with Avery's first baseball game with the Thunder Eagles.  This 1st grade machine pitch is the real deal...people actually get out in this game :).  My #15 played well and got a run in!

The cutest baseball player ever!

Then off to soccer for our second to last game of the season.

These Silver Knights are AWESOME!  We are still undefeated!

We then had our soccer celebration party!  The boys got their medals :)!

On Saturday night, this crazy thing happened while playing outside with some friends...this hot air balloon flew really low right above our house.  The kiddos loved it!  Then we noticed it looked like they were landing right down the road...we followed it and found it right in the middle of a culdasac.  I guess it had to make an emergency landing.  Who needs to pay big money to go to the hot air balloon festival to watch these things land when it happens right by your house :)?!

Sunday started with church and then we spent the rest of the day spending every second playing outside. With a balmy 84 degree day the kiddos begged to get the sprinklers out!

The car wash made a reappearance from last summer!

Then it wouldn't be a weekend in spring without a little yard work around here!

And more sprinkler time!

{love}.  This what I saw while cleaning up dinner...Ryan laying with the kiddos on the trampoline.

Then a little baseball practice!  Avery hit a ball way out of the fence while playing!  Way to go buddy {it's a good thing no one lives behind us ;)}!

Then we had a visitor!  I think this might be the same duck we had last year...I hope he brings his wife back to have baby ducklings again on our pond!  He might be a little scared now with flying baseball around last night :).
