7. wow.

7 years old.

Wow.  That's like a real big kid.  Seven seems so old.  Another birthday, crazy.

This boy.
Is the best big brother there is...and always has been from the day E&E were born.
He loves rules and following them.
Tries very hard at all he does, but is easy to get discouraged if he doesn't succeed at first.
He is very quiet and timid in new situations and around new people.
When he becomes your friend he's a great one.
Loves, loves learning about animals...he can't seem to get enough of nonfiction books.
Skylanders. {I don't think I need to say anymore there ;)}
He may not be the all-star at what he does, but he's a great team player.
I love this boy.

6 Highlights of year 6:
1.  Started reading chapter books!
2. Began going to school all day in 1st grade.
3.  Learned to play basketball and added it to his 2 other sports of soccer & baseball.
4.  He also learned to be a soccer goalie and loves it.
5.  Finally accomplished riding his bike without training wheels!
6.  Joined Cub Scouts.

Here's a look at his day.

E&E and I brought Avery his favorite food to school today!

Avery's requested birthday treat for school.

Wow the first year he actually read his birthday card himself...this makes me a little sad that he's growing up!

Birthday sundaes for dessert with cherries of course!

I think they might have 1 or 2 Skylanders.

And maybe a whole lot hasn't changed in the last year...
how he ended his 7th birthday....

how he ended his 6th birthday...

:).  I will take things staying the same for awhile!
