On the third day of spring break...
There was play time at the grandparents!
The superheroes and Grandmommy spent most of the morning creating a Lego train. It included a daisy and different animals. There was a giraffe, unicorn, walrus, fish, ducks, people, dog, and a monkey/deer {it was really a monkey, but Evan insisted it was a deer}.
Then after much pleading from the kiddos we spent a chilly hour outside riding tractors, swinging, and playing in the treehouse! It was a good relaxing day!
{Have I mentioned how much I hate the Blogger app...oh well enjoy :)}

on the second day of spring break
On the second day of spring break....
it snows...yes snows :(.
I am tired of this snow and come on it is SPRING break.
Why is spring break in March around here anyways when it is still usually cold? Why can't they at least have it in April when it is actually spring and typically a little warmer? When I was a kid I am pretty sure it happened in April a lot, around Easter {because Easter is usually in April not the craziness of March as it is this year}. Right?
So what do superheroes and a princess do when it is too cold to play outside?
They play superheroes...
and babies...
and a competitive game of Chutes and Ladders.
We are packed and ready to head to Grandmommy and Granddaddy's house as soon as Ryan gets home!
Instead of shorts and plans to play outside in the sandbox, we have our snow boots packed and maybe we will get to pull the kids on a sled with the 4 wheeler finally...oh well the kiddos have fun no matter what!
Enjoy the snow...

on the first day of spring break
On the first day of spring break...
we played with some friends at Debbie Howard's Gym! This was our first trip there and the superheroes and princess LOVED it. They were definitely worn out after two hours of jumping, climbing, running, balancing there!
{The superheroes did well on the balance beam!}
Superheroes can fly!!!
Princesses can hang!!!
They are all in there somewhere...
{Ellie could swing for hours, especially when it's with friends!}
After lunch with friends and Ellie laying down for a nap the boys went to play outside while I watch them from inside {we are finally getting to the ages where they can have some independence and I must say I LOVE it!}...I love to see their imaginations and the pretend worlds they create!
Although it is still cool outside, I am happy that the sun is at least shining!

a photo dump...
We have had a lot of fun the last few days and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather {while it lasted}. We are going to try to enjoy our week of spring break with friends and family. Here's just some pictures I wanted to share before "spring break" kicks off...enjoy!
a visit from a leprechaun
This morning we woke up to some surprises! None of us really expected anything because we have never had a visit before, but last night a leprechaun must have visited us! The kiddos found lots of clues this morning of his visit!!! {I am not sure if I would like him to come back because he made a mess ;)!}
The kitchen had crumpled up paper, bowls, and spoons all over the floor...
Look at those little scissors he used...he must have small hands. And he used some of my scrapbooking tape...without asking!
Apparently, he used some of our bowls and spoons to make his surprise, but he didn't clean up the mess he spilled out from the cabinet!
We did find this nice little surprise on our kitchen table! I guess the mess was worth it! He left some Lucky Charms with special magic sparkles in it, a decorated mug with his own picture on it, a new necklace, a green egg with goodies {I will show you in a sec what was in it}, some yummy green and black chocolates with more magic sprinkles and and a decorated spoon, bowl, and cup to use!
They were so surprised!
Here's what was in the green eggs: some stickers and a gold coin! He must have been a nice leprechaun to share some of his gold with us!
Then we go to eat our Lucky cereal and in our fridge we find this special green lemonade that was left there. I start to pour the milk on their cereal and guess what...it was green too!
Yeah green milk!
Yummy!
We go to get ready for church and that little stinker left some green stuff pee in there! Oh man! He also left the towel, soap, and toothbrushes a mess!
Then Avery found this evidence of him being in Evan's bed. It looks like he played with our snuggie Elfy. He must have thought he was the real Elfy. I wonder if they are friends?
Happy St. Patrick's Day! From the superheroes, a princess, the mom & dad :)!
